The First Vice President of the National Assembly (AN), Pedro Infante, today highlighted the firmness of the Bolivarian Government in its struggle for the independence and sovereignty of Venezuela in the face of North American imperialism

In this regard, Infante stressed that the Governments of Commander Hugo Chávez and President Nicolás Maduro have been the only ones in the country's history that have not submitted to the designs of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank or the U.S. Embassy.

He assured that the sanctions against the Chevron company are due to the fact that the Bolivarian Revolution is stronger than ever and that it will not be defeated by any empire.

“The Bolivarian Government reaffirms its commitment to the Venezuelan people and its struggle for economic and political independence, facing sanctions and blockades imposed by foreign powers,” he emphasized.
