This Friday, the vice-president of the organization of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Pedro Infante, participated with the deputy Tania Díaz in the podcast Sin Truco Ni Maña, and during his speech he recalled the heroic act of Isaías Rodríguez, who for April 11, 2002 served as attorney general of the Republic.

“The coup d'etat began to take place in 2001 when the Enabling Law was carried out, our courageous prosecutor, Isaías Rodríguez, proposed the defense of the land, the Hydrocarbons Law and the Fisheries Law ; three important aspects that the Venezuelan oligarchy had handled at will for almost a century,” said Infante.

He also stressed that by 2002 oil was in the hands of Exxonmobil, for example, which today is conspiring to manage Guyana Essequiba, the same one that financed the coup d'etat in 2002 against Commander Hugo Chávez.

“The right to land was doomed to the masters of the valley and with the Fisheries Law, several interests of the oligarchy were disrupted,” said the vice-president of organization of the PSUV, referring to Rodríguez's struggle.
