People of Caracas enjoyed the Grand Cry of Carnival 2025 this Saturday

This Saturday, February 08, between music, dances and different cultural activities, Caracas began the Great Carnival Cry 2025, with the participation of 22 parishes to make way for the celebration of carnival festivities throughout the national territory.

The activity carried out in Plaza El Venezolano in Caracas was accompanied by the mayor of the Bolivarian Libertador municipality, A/J Carmen Meléndez, and the Head of Government of the Capital District, Nahúm Fernández.

In this regard, Meléndez highlighted that in these Carnivals 2025, for the first time, the floats from Caracas will arrive in the state of La Guaira. In addition, he specified that, as every year, the election of the queen and the usual parade of floats will take place on the Paseo de los Próceres.

“There will be special prizes and various national and international artists will visit us. Concerts will be held, there will be mountain biking and a 5 km marathon. We are here with joy to continue with various events, so we began the Great Carnival Cry 2025 and I want to congratulate the tourism team of the Government of Caracas for organizing this event,” he said.

This Saturday was also attended by various circus artists and with the joy and enthusiasm of the people. During the event, activities took place in the 22 parishes involved, where young people, men and women were seen enjoying the beginning of this traditional festival.

The tour culminated in Plaza El Venezolano, where artists such as Kamerun and Baloo, Jonathan Molina, Las Divas performed, as well as prominent DJs such as Che Castillo, Anyi Loop, Gary, and Jhoan Castillo, who encouraged the attendees. The Great Carnival Cry 2025 marks the beginning of carnival celebrations across the country, where the culture and joy of the Venezuelan people stand out.
