In a demonstration of patriotic unity and historical awareness, the town of Las Tejerías in Aragua concentrated on Plaza Bolívar in the Santos Michelena municipality, in order to raise their voice of resounding rejection of the imperial pretensions of dispossession of Venezuelan assets.
The activity, which took place peacefully and with a deep sense of belonging, brought together social movements, local authorities and organized popular power, who reaffirmed their commitment to the Bolivarian legacy.
In this regard, the mayor of the municipality, Régulo La Cruz, reiterated the rejection of the threats against the Venezuelan homeland, made by the President of the United States (USA), Donald Trump, “from Las Tejerías de Paz, we denounce the grotesque threat of Mr. Trump, who, in violation of international law and free trade, has launched a reckless and serious threat against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, assuming on his social networks, that Venezuela's oil, land and mineral wealth are his property and, consequently, Venezuela he must give them to him immediately, intending to impose a naval and military blockade, with the objective of stealing the riches that belong to our homeland,” he questioned.
