Peru-Venezuela Parliamentary Friendship League welcomes compliance with the electoral schedule

This Wednesday, the Peru—Venezuela Parliamentary Friendship League of the Congress of the Republic of Peru, within the framework of the electoral process for the presidency of the Republic, sent a statement in support of the democratic process.

Through the social network X, the League published the statement in which it hails the fulfillment of the electoral schedule of the process in Venezuela “in strict accordance with the principles of democratic legitimacy.”

“We recognize the importance of this process for the Venezuelan people, reiterating our support for their sovereign right of choice in an environment of transparency and citizen participation,” highlights the Peruvian organization.

“We stress the respect on the part of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela for the Barbados Agreement, which demonstrates commitment,” the statement describes.
