Petro warned that it will break diplomatic relations with Israel if it does not comply with the ceasefire (+UN)

Through the social network X, the President of the Republic of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, warned that he will break diplomatic relations with the government of Israel if it does not comply with the Ceasefire against Palestine.

“If Israel does not comply with the United Nations Ceasefire resolution, we break diplomatic relations with Israel,” he said.

For the first time since the escalation of the conflict, last October, the United Nations (UN) Security Council approved a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.

The decision was approved by 14 votes in favor, one abstention from the United States (USA) and zero votes against.
