Canadian photojournalist Valerie Zink publicly resigned from the Reuters news agency after eight years of collaboration and accused the company of “betraying journalists” and of “justifying and allowing the systematic murder of 245 journalists in Gaza”.

This Tuesday, the resignation of the communication professional was published on the social network X and Facebook, and accompanied by a photograph of her Reuters press pass cut in half.

Zink, whose work has been published by media such as The New York Times and Al-Jazeera, described it as “impossible to maintain a relationship with Reuters” given his role as an accomplice in the Israeli genocidal campaign in Palestine.
