During the program “Culture and Peace”, which is broadcast on MIJP Radio Multimedia, the coordinator of the General Directorate of Crime Prevention of the Mayor's Office of the Sucre municipality of Miranda state, Gregory García, highlighted the importance of the work carried out for the benefit of the community through the Antonio José de Sucre Plan.

He indicated that the Antonio José de Sucre Plan humanizes the Petare sectors in perfect Popular, Military and Police Fusion, as reported by Prensa MPPRIJP,

He added that 1,500 people who live in the El Tanque de Petare sector benefited from various social care programs, while around 2,000 residents of the Caucagüita parish benefited from social plans, including a registration operation that benefited 410 inhabitants of the La Fortaleza Waraira Repano Commune.

He indicated that on the Petare-Santa Lucía highway, at the height of the Tito Salas de Mariches sector, there were also social plans for 2,000 people, of whom 500 received their respective identity cards thanks to the joint work carried out with the Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Aliens (SAIME).

In addition, social benefits were granted to 1,500 people in the El Nazareno sector, in Petare Sur, while 2,000 residents of the Winche de Mariches sector benefited from the sale of proteins at affordable prices through the Campo Soberano program.

“We also served the community in zone 5 of the José Félix Ribas sector; that activity with the youth was very nice. Then we moved to the El Encantado sector, where 700 people were served that day,” García said.

For his part, the coordinator of the General Directorate of Crime Prevention in Miranda state, Jorge Muñoz, stressed that the Antonio José de Sucre Plan was a successful strategy of the Bolivarian Government to combat the factors that generate violence.

“We have been changing the face of the José Félix Ribas sector in Petare. What used to be an international reference for evil, for violence, for fanaticism, is now something different,” he added.

He also assured that hope is once again in the streets because the Bolivarian Government has been involved, not only with security, but also in improving the quality of life of the inhabitants.
