As part of the Bodega Plan, promoted by the National Government through the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, supplies were delivered to consolidate the installation of water purification plants in various communities in the Cristóbal Rojas municipality, in Miranda state.

In this regard, the director of the Communes of Cristóbal Rojas, Dimara Herrera, indicated that the provision of materials such as tanks, connections, lamps, tables for washing bottles, keys and other equipment necessary for the operation of the water treatment plants, was delivered to the Herederos communes of Guaicaipura and Ciudad Miranda, of the Charallave parish; as well as the Diosdado Cabello and La Flor communes of Araguaney, located in the parish of Las Brisas del Tuy, a note from the mayor's office.

The mayor, Yuhismar Hernández, explained that institutional support is key to the success of the program. “The Ministry of Commerce defines the warehouses to be served and, together with community spokeswomen and spokespersons, we guarantee the safe dispatch of resources,” he said.

In addition, he added that the plan continues to expand and foresees the incorporation of 87 warehouses, 35 water treatment plants, four hardware stores and two pharmacies in the municipality, as part of a strategy to strengthen community production and supply.

The Bodega Plan was created by President Nicolás Maduro on October 7, 2024, as part of the sixth summit of the Great Equality and Social Justice Mission “Hugo Chávez”, called Economy for Life, and aims to guarantee direct access to food and essential services, such as drinking water, at fair prices.
