The Caracas Sonríe Plan carried out its 47th deployment in the Coche parish, where the so-called Simón Rodríguez Urban Planning Solutions Camp was installed, a day that aimed to attend 37 community councils, which translates into a direct benefit for 6,492 families living in the area.
The deployment focused on the parish's strategic communal circuits: Heroines of the Homeland and Ezequiel Zamora, in addition to the 21st Century El Arañero de Sabaneta Commune, according to information shared by the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez from her Telegram channel.
He explained that the installation of these solution camps are part of a comprehensive strategy of the Government of Caracas to address in a direct and organized manner the needs of the population, which articulates efforts with popular power.
In this regard, Mayor Meléndez offered an assessment of the scope of the plan to date, highlighting the progress made in this “third round” of the initiative.
“In this third round, we attended a total of 1,942 communal councils out of the 2,156 that operate in Caracas, representing 48.33%,” he said.
He also emphasized the commitment of his management to maintain and deepen the work in the Coche parish, and assured that they will continue to be deployed hand in hand with the communal power to ensure the resolution of the problems identified. This approach to working together seeks to strengthen grassroots organization and citizen participation in managing solutions.
In this way, the Mayor's Office of Caracas, in coordination with various public and private institutions in the country, reiterates its commitment to remain deployed throughout the capital city. The objective is to provide solutions to the problems that afflict citizens, which reaffirms the integral and constant nature of the Caracas Smile Plan for the benefit of the inhabitants of Greater Caracas.
