Members of the Cayapa Heroica National Plan carried out repair and optimization of medical equipment at the Carmen Estela Mendoza Flores Comprehensive Diagnostic Center (CDI), located in the Iribarren municipality of Lara state.

The technical works, according to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), will benefit more than 5 thousand patients from ophthalmology, cardiology, general medicine and intensive care services.

The optimized medical devices include five multiparameter monitors, two blood pressure monitors and an otorhinolaryngology (ENT) device.

In addition to the calibration of scales for older adult patients and the repair of a mechanical ventilator.
