Plan Cayapa Heroica recovered biomedical systems in CDI de Guarenas

In an effort to guarantee the right to health and strengthen hospital infrastructure, the Cayapa Heroica National Plan achieved the recovery of three critical biomedical care systems and general services in the Argelia Laya Comprehensive Diagnostic Center and the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Room (SRI) in Guarenas, Miranda state.

The technical team of the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (Fundacite) implemented a comprehensive approach that allowed the total restoration of the hydropneumatic system, after the reconstruction of its electrical panel, thus ensuring the continuous supply of drinking water in the enclosure.

In addition, an autoclave sterilizer was put into operation, a fundamental part of biosafety protocols, and an electrocardiograph, a key tool for the timely diagnosis of cardiac pathologies in the community, was repaired.

The recovery of these equipment, according to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), optimizes the operation of the public network, reduces waiting times and improves the quality of life of patients in the area.
