In a Plenary Chamber session held this Monday, May 4, the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) formalized the incorporation of alternate judges and magistrates to fill the vacancies generated by the recently approved retirement processes.

This measure ensures administrative and judicial continuity while completing the selection process by the Judicial Nominations Committee of the National Assembly (AN).

During the meeting, the new Board of Directors of the highest court was appointed, which was formed as follows:

President of the Supreme Court: Judge Caryslia Beatriz Rodríguez Rodríguez.

First Vice-President: Judge Elías Rubén Bittar Escalona.

Second Vice-President: Judge Tania D'Amelio Cardiet.

In addition, the new structure of the various rooms that make up the organization was announced.

In particular, the Constitutional Chamber will be led by: President: Tania D'Amelio Cardiet and Vice President: Lourdes Suárez Anderson. Members: Michel Adriana Velásquez Grillet; Janette Trinidad Córdova Castro and Anabel Hernández.
