PNB arrested a couple for fentanyl trafficking in Lara

Members of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), stationed in Lara state and belonging to the Anti-Drug Division, captured two individuals from whom 132 ampoules of fentanyl were seized.

The detainees were identified as Yelys Peroza, 47, and Simón Arias, 43, who, in addition to seizing fentanyl, had 60 ampoules of ephedrine, 10 ampoules of phenytoin, ten bottles of hydrocortisone, two oral suspensions of carbamazepine, two clotrimazole, and other medications seized.

According to information published on the web portal of La Prensa de Lara, it is presumed that there is a third person involved, so the investigations are still ongoing.
