PNB arrested subject in Maturín for drug microtrafficking

As part of the operations deployed against the microtrafficking of narcotic substances, officials of the Anti-Drug Division of the Bolivarian National Police (CPNB) arrested a 38-year-old man in the Daguana neighborhood, in the town of San José de Buja, Monagas state, in flagrante delicto.
During the police action, two kilos were confiscated with 227 grams of alleged marijuana, in addition to weighing tools, cash and a telephone device linked to the criminal act.
The case and the evidence came under the jurisdiction of the Public Prosecutor's Office (MP), the body responsible for initiating the corresponding judicial process.
This procedure reaffirms the commitment of the Venezuelan State to the fight against microtrafficking and to the defense of citizen security.
