Officials of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) arrested Roalmi Alberto Cabeza Cedeño, who, according to the far-right leader, María Corina Machado, was “injured and disappeared” by State security forces on January 9.
Cabeza Cedeño was found by the uniformed personnel in a renowned hotel in Caracas, where he was hiding under orders from Machado, after she invented that she was “kidnapped”, after participating in a squalid mobilization called by her, while some of her companions supposedly “was injured and arrested”.
In a video released by the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, on its Instagram account, the moment when Cabeza Cedeño was found a blue bag, in which there was a telephone number that the leader, recognized for causing acts of violence and calling for invasions against the country, had given him to “contact him and give him instructions”.

In response to the serious complaints filed by citizen María Corina Machado and disseminated through various national and international web portals, regarding a citizen of her trusted team who had allegedly been mortally wounded by law enforcement during the demonstrations of January 9, 2025, the Public Ministry and State security bodies, through the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, have carried out an exhaustive investigation to clarify the facts.
After the corresponding investigations, we inform Venezuelans that citizen ROALMI ALBERTO CABEZA CEDEÑO, C.I.: V-18,021,776, has been arrested in a well-known hotel in Gran Caracas, Venezuela; who states that he was in “security” by order of citizen María Corina Machado.
It should be noted that the citizen is in excellent physical and health condition, with no injuries anywhere on his body.
The above-mentioned citizen will be brought before the justice agencies for crimes of association to commit crimes and to simulate a punishable act with the objective of creating anxiety in the country. The Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace reaffirms its commitment to the guarantee of human rights, as enshrined in the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, international treaties, and other laws in force.
