PNB seized 18 kilos of marijuana and apprehended two individuals in Apure

Members of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), stationed in the Pedro Camejo municipality (San Juan de Payara) in the state of Apure , were able to arrest two individuals for possession of drugs.

According to information published on the website of the newspaper Última Noticias, officials spotted two individuals on public roads on a motorcycle carrying a 70-liter pimpina.

“Upon seeing the police commission, they started to flee and left the pimpina abandoned. In a report published on the PNB Instagram account, it is explained that during the procedure, officials searched the area, but citizens fled to a wooded area,” the media reported.

The subjects, while fleeing, left a pimpina where 18 marijuana wrappers weighing approximately 18 kilos and 980 grams were found .

The procedure was placed under the order of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
