Poets and singers met in Caracas for peace and the sovereignty of Venezuela

This Tuesday, January 13, poets, singers,
artisans and cultivators will make their creations a statement for peace and
sovereignty in Venezuela, in the vicinity of the ground floor of the
North Tower of the Simon Bolivar Center, located in Plaza Caracas.
Under the title “Poetry and Song to Matria,
the Peace and Sovereignty of Peoples”, the activity stands as an action of
resistance and popular encounter that will take as its route several
cultural spaces, such as, for example, Plaza Bolívar and the Art Network Store.
This artistic deployment is driven
by various movements and entities, including the Red Art Foundation, the
Institute of Performing and Musical Arts (IAEM), the Andrés Bello National House of
Letters, the Open Sky Cultural School and the Platform for
Solidarity with the Palestinian Cause.
The day will have a large list of exponents. In the word, poets such as Hindu Anderi, Joel Linares, Ana Gloria Palma, Eliel Brizolla, Efrén Vélez, Arturo Sosa Leal, Cristóbal Alva, Mariajosé Escobar, Benjamín Martínez, Rocío Navarro, Fran Soteldo, and others stand out. The music will be represented by singers such as Marta Doudiers, Jhonny Acosta, Keudy López, Carlos Guaicaipura and many more.
