Organized Popular Power will be the protagonist of this weekend, November 1 and 2, with the Assemblies of Citizens and Citizens in the Communes and Community Circuits, where in addition to nominating projects for the next Popular Consultation on November 23, the progress and results of the works carried out by the organized communities will also be reviewed.

In response to the call of President Nicolás Maduro, the Deputy Minister of Social Movements, Albanys Montilla, said that this constitutes an important step for the consolidation of the new Communal State, which is strengthened through organization and direct democracy through popular consultations that have been taking place for more than a year throughout the country.

“The people are motivated to participate, to give continuity to their projects and new projects that people have embodied in their Concrete Agenda of Action (ACA), to continue strengthening participatory and leading democracy; raising the conditions of organized people,” he said.

According to the State channel, Venezolana de Televisión, during the meetings, the formation of the communal councils, the renewal of spokespersons and the Bolivarian Militia Community Units will also be reviewed.
