Portuguesa shone with Carnival 2026 parades

With majestic floats, troupes and individual fantasies, the Carnival in Peace 2026 was held on Avenida Unda in Guanare, Portuguese state, as stated by the region's Single Tourism Authority, Belitza Heredia, while assuring that the parade had a distance of 1.2 kilometers.

Heredia highlighted that the streets were filled with joy and love in the 43rd edition of the carnival festivities with the exhibition of original artistic proposals and the rhythm of seven samba groups and six show bands.

The show brought together thousands of spectators and shows the talent of local designers who, together with communities, surprise with fantastic proposals inspired by national identity, the cultural manifestations of the plain, biodiversity and mythology, among other reasons.

Security and public order during the parades were guaranteed by 1,500 officials of the Carnavales Seguros Plan and along the route, six primary care points and an equal number of ambulances were also available to guarantee assistance and transportation to the population in the event of possible emergencies.
