The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, provides decent housing for the people in the El Gigante Socialist City Urbanism Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías, located in the Cayaurima sector, in the state of Bolívar.
This is how in the Angostura del Orinoco municipality, in the Vista Hermosa parish, 100 homes (80 apartments and 20 houses) were granted to families in the Cayaurima sector in the context of the construction of human cities reaching 371 inhabitants.
In this urban area, there are single-family and multi-family homes, both of 62 and 72 square meters (M²). Currently, 948 people live in this urban area, there are 323 families and an electoral population of 889 voters.
The Great Venezuela Housing Mission (GMVV) is a socialist program whose main objective is to guarantee housing solutions to families in precarious situations and the right to decent housing.
The Head of State is accompanied on this day by the First Lady of the Republic, Cilia Flores; the Vice President of Public Works, Jorge Márquez; the Minister of Housing and Habitat, Raúl Paredes; and the Minister of Ecological Mining Development, Héctor Silva.
The GMVV came with the Bolivarian Revolution and to strengthen Venezuelan families that during the Fourth Republic were abandoned without any support to build housing.
