President (E) announced the incorporation of FUNVISIS to the Ministry of Science and Technology

The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, announced through her Telegram channel the incorporation of the Venezuelan Foundation for Seismological Research (FUNVISIS) to the institutions belonging to the Ministry of People's Power for Science and Technology.

According to information published by Rodríguez, this decision is intended to strengthen our country's scientific and technical capacities for the prevention, monitoring and care of seismic phenomena.

He also added that “this new articulation will make it possible to continue strengthening research and scientific knowledge at the service of the protection of our people.”

FUNVISIS belonged to the Ministry of Internal Relations, Justice and Peace since 2018.
