President (E) Delcy Rodríguez orders Master Plan for Logistics and Tourism Development for La Guaira

During the delivery of funding to businesses and entrepreneurs in the state of La Guaira, the president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, assured that this state must become an axis of logistics and tourism development to take advantage of all its potential.

During the activity, he shared and listened to the experiences lived by the survivors of the earthquakes of June 24, to whom he reiterated that from the outset the priority of the national Government was to save lives; therefore, from the first minute, the deployment of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the authorities and rescue forces was ordered.

Rodríguez urged the creation of a Master Plan for the Recovery of La Guaira “that overcomes the psychological impact that the natural tragedies of 1999 and this year have left on the affected peoples” so that the people are happy with what their immediate future will mean.

“I ordered the sector vice-president of Public Works and Services to recover the beaches, since La Guaira is a tourist state and the Master Plan will be focused on developing the entity's great tourism and logistics potential,” he said.

He recognized the strength demonstrated by the Venezuelan people in the face of the difficulties that the country has faced and stressed that Venezuela stands firm and willing to move forward.

He affirmed that the nation's response represents a message to the world and demonstrates the capacity of the Venezuelan people to overcome adversity, defend their sovereignty and continue working for economic and social recovery.

Finally, the president said: “Many Venezuelans lost their homes, but kept their smile,” while reiterating her solidarity with affected families across the country and reminding them that in the face of adversity the Venezuelan people have always stood up.
