The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, visited the headquarters of the Command of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), in El Paraíso, Caracas, on the occasion of celebrating the 89th anniversary of this military institution.

The president in charge took a tour of this emblematic building, known as Quinta Las Acacias, whose architecture dates back to the beginning of the 20th century and was the typical construction of the El Paraíso urbanization.

Accompanied by the Minister of Popular Power for Defense, Gustavo González López, the Commander-in-Chief of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) was received by the officials who make up the GNB's high command.

“Congratulations to an equally special component of our Bolivarian National Armed Forces. It had its spirit of creation, stability, internal peace and it has maintained that way for these 89 years. I have nothing but words of congratulations to this body of men and women who make up the Bolivarian National Guard and who also carries in their blood the legacy of our Liberator Father Simón Bolívar as a reference for his actions in preserving the internal stability and peace of the Republic,” said Rodríguez.
