President (E) Rodríguez appointed Alejandro López as the new Minister for Culture

The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, appointed historian Alejandro López Rodríguez as the new Minister of Popular Power for Culture, with the purpose of continuing to strengthen national identity and promote Venezuelan cultural heritage.

“I am sure that his training and great experience will be at the service of this important task,” Rodríguez said through his Telegram channel this Tuesday.

He also assured that López will assume responsibility “with the commitment to continue strengthening our identity, preserving the historical legacy of Venezuela and promoting the immense cultural heritage that unites us as a single people.”

In the same way, the president thanked Raúl Cazal for his management at the head of the Ministry for Culture and announced that he will assume the presidency of the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies Rómulo Gallegos (CELARG).
