President (E) Rodríguez: There is no waiting list at the Children's Cardiology Hospital

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, confirmed this Thursday that there is no waiting list at the Dr. Gilberto Rodríguez Ochoa Children's Cardiology Hospital, on the 20th anniversary of its founding.

“At the Children's Cardiological Hospital there is no waiting list, and the boys and girls, the young people who arrive know that at most they will have three or four weeks to have a response to the heart disease that has occurred,” said the president in charge during the ceremony to commemorate the 20th anniversary of this important health center.

He stressed that Children's Cardiology makes Venezuela's heartbeat stronger, “because every time we save a boy or a girl and that they can now be doing resuscitation exercises, in rehabilitation, in their vacation camps, doing their normal life, it is returning life to a child and returning hope to a mother, a father, a family.”

In this regard, he stated that this hospital “is a symbol of what we want to be as a country, of what we want to be as a people and of what we want to be as public health”, thus “the emphasis we are placing on overcoming the wounds left by the economic blockade against Venezuela and recovering public health”.
