The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, led the Act of Recognition of Academic Excellence in Venezuelan Secondary Education, a day dedicated to honoring student performance after the completion of the 2025-2026 school year.

“Today we celebrate the Recognition of Academic Excellence in Secondary Education Act, where 439 young undergraduates, from all states of the country, receive Antonio José de Sucre Student Merit. They are young people who, with discipline, dedication and perseverance, demonstrated that effort always finds its reward. This recognition also embraces their families and teachers, who accompanied every step of this journey and were a fundamental part of every achievement. There are 439 stories of effort, 439 reasons to feel proud and 439 reasons to continue to believe in the future of Venezuela. Venezuela is reborn in its young people, in their dreams and in the education that prepares them to build the country of tomorrow,” wrote the president on her account on the social network Telegram.
