The president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez , led the Antonio José de Sucre Student Merit Recognition event this Tuesday, in which she invited students to carry the spirit of Bolívar in their professional careers.
“Take it for your careers, no matter if it's medicine or whatever, here's our political, spiritual, and doctrinal guide. It is Bolívar who marks our future and the future must rest on solid foundations in education,” he said.
During the event, the efforts of Venezuelan youth and their families were highlighted. “We want to congratulate all the graduates and especially the more than 10,000 students who graduated with an average of 19 points, as well as those who achieved the highest score of 20. This reflects the perseverance of the Venezuelan family,” he said.
Rodríguez pointed out that this new generation plays a fundamental role in strengthening the country's various economic engines, “the Venezuelan economy needs to diversify in its wide potential, and the choice of excellent careers will allow us to add professionals trained in industry, petrochemistry and engineering to guarantee the State's productive boost,” he said.
He emphasized the importance of cultivating human, ethical and historical values and reiterated his commitment to guarantee full access to education, technology for study and the pedagogical material necessary for the continuity of higher education in the different houses of study in the country.
