The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reiterated the commitment of the National Government to all those affected by the double earthquake of June 24 that mourned thousands of Venezuelan homes.

“At the Tiuna City Housing Complex, we deliver new apartments to families who lost their homes due to the double earthquake,” wrote the president in charge in her account on the social network Telegram.

He added that the emergency does not end when the earthquake passes, so he stressed that “our response continues until each family has a safe home. We are making progress in the construction of new homes and in the rehabilitation of those that were affected.”

During the delivery of the 48 new apartments in Fuerte Tiuna, Caracas, he reiterated that at least 4,000 homes are expected to be completed by December, which will be given to the victims of the double earthquake who currently reside in the temporary camps.

“Through the Venezuela Renace Plan, we are currently recovering more than 13,000 homes that will benefit 66,000 people, because it's not just housing, it's who benefits, a mother, a father, a boy, a girl, a grandfather, a grandmother,” he said.
