Colombian President Gustavo Petro ordered the departure of the Israeli diplomatic delegation in Colombia this Wednesday, October 1, after forces from the Jewish country intercepted the Global Sumud Flotilla in international waters near Gaza and arrested Colombian citizens Manuela Bedoya and Luna Barreto.

In this context, the Colombian president reported: “The entire diplomatic delegation of Israel in Colombia comes out”, in his account on the social network X.

In the message, he said: “The Foreign Ministry must make all the respective demands, including in the Israeli justice system. I invite international lawyers to put themselves at the service of Colombia, alongside our lawyers.”

He also reported the “complaint” of the free trade agreement signed between Bogotá and Tel Aviv.
