President highlights oil and agricultural growth in Venezuela (+ Million b/d)

During the National Council for Productive Economy in the Los Llanos Region, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted this Wednesday the progress of Venezuela's growth in the country's oil production.

“In oil growth, we have already reached close to one million barrels a day, produced with Venezuelan technology, overcoming sanctions,” said the Head of State.

In addition, in terms of agriculture, he specified that in 2023 Venezuela reached 5.5% growth and in these first quarters of 2024, “we grew 5.8%, the trend continues.”

He then reaffirmed that the country has sustained an increase for 15 quarters “in land activity, in planting activity and in food production”.
