President in charge Delcy Rodríguez pays tribute to educators in her day

In the context of the celebration of Teacher's Day in Venezuela, the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, sent a message of recognition and gratitude to the women and men who dedicate their lives to academic and civic education throughout the national territory.

Through a message posted on his social networks, Rodríguez highlighted the strategic importance of teaching for the country's destiny, stressing that the construction of a prosperous society is intrinsically linked to the strengthening of the education system.

“As the daughter of two educators, I am familiar with the conviction and tireless dedication with which teachers form not only knowledge, but also future and citizenship,” said Rodríguez.

He also asserted that the country's development requires transformative education and fair recognition of teaching work.

Every January 15, Venezuela has been commemorating Teacher's Day since 1945 after being approved by him during the term of office of President Isaías Medina Angarita, to pay tribute to educators.
