The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that this Thursday, January 08, she held a meeting with the ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Venezuela, Lan Hu, to whom she conveyed her sincere thanks for his condemnation of the kidnapping of the Constitutional President, Nicolás Maduro and the first lady Cilia Flores.
On her account on the social network Telegram, President Rodríguez highlighted that she also thanked the Asian nation “for the aggressions against Venezuela”.
“We value China's firm and consistent position in strongly condemning the serious violation of international law and Venezuelan sovereignty,” he emphasized.
