President in charge Delcy Rodríguez: The Venezuelan People are a People that Don't Give Up

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, asserted that “the Venezuelan people are a people that do not give up”.

This Tuesday, at the installation of the Agrifood, Fisheries, Community and Industrial General Staff, he stated that “Venezuela is on a painful path due to the aggression it suffered unprecedented in our history and in the history of South America, but the Venezuelan people are active marching in the streets (...) We are therefore governing together with the People,” he said. In that regard, he added that “the People of Venezuela are the ones who govern our country, there is no external agent that governs Venezuela.”

He stressed that “the Venezuelan people remain firm and from here we send a recognition to the martyrs, to whom they offered their lives in the defense of Venezuela against this criminal attack that had an illegal outcome that violated international legality, such as the kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro and the first lady, Cilia Flores,” he said.
