The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, called on the country's workers this Wednesday to national cohesion and union to advance the economic growth of the Homeland, following the military aggression perpetrated by the United States (USA) on January 3.

In a telephone contact with the massive workers' march for the liberation of President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores, kidnapped during the illegal imperial incursion, Rodriguez stated that “we have to keep up the fight.”

“I know the path we have been taking in economic recovery for our country, but I once again call on you to national union, to the cohesion of all workers and all women workers so that we can continue on the path of economic growth, development, for the social happiness of our people,” he urged.

In this regard, he stressed the importance of “that all Venezuela be united that seeks a horizon and that that horizon is social peace, be it economic peace, that in every working family in Venezuela there is hope and that hope that we will have them back, but also the hope of building a homeland that allows us happiness, the future of our sons and daughters,” he said.
