The President in Charge of Venezuela Delcy Rodríguez visited the José Félix Ribas Socialist Commune in the community of 70, Santa Ana neighborhood in the Antímano parish, where she learned about the productive experience in the textile sector that allowed them to make school uniforms.

During the tour, the President in Charge verified the social impact of the completed projects, specifically the provision of 150 and 200 liter water tanks, a direct result of participatory and leading democracy.

He also supervised the works currently under way, such as the replacement of roofs and the creation of the new Community Gymnasium, an initiative promoted by the youth of the sector.

The conference highlights the operational capacity of the José Félix Ribas Textilería, a plant that generates school uniforms for more than 15 schools and guarantees access to quality clothing at communal prices. In the same way, he learned about the experience of the “A New Dawn” unit, dedicated to the manufacture of cleaning supplies to combat shortages in the territory.

The deployment serves to make visible the Movement of Entrepreneurs Together, which brings together 66 men and women who carry out professions in the areas of hardware, confectionery, carpentry and aesthetics. This workforce represents the engine of the communal economy that is consolidated in the Santa Ana sector and its surroundings.

With this activity, the Bolivarian Government reaffirms that public management is exercised from the ground up, complying with the mandate of efficiency or nothing to increase the quality of life of the 12,813 inhabitants who give life to this combative commune.
