The president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, said that Venezuela is a country that does not give up, that does not subordinate itself. “We are not subordinate, nor are we subdued,” he emphasized.
In that regard, he stressed that during the military aggression of the United States, “nobody surrendered here, here there was a fight for this country, for our Liberators, Bolivar, Miranda, Sucre, Ribas, Urdaneta, Manuela Sáenz, Ezequiel Zamora, for Chávez and for Venezuela. This is our greatest satisfaction.”
“We have historic dignity and we have commitment and loyalty to President Nicolás Maduro, who has been kidnapped and loyalty to the first fighter Cilia Flores. We are committed to not resting until we see them in freedom and back to their homeland,” he said.
He made the statement at the Eclectic Monument of the Military Academy of the Bolivarian National Guard (AMGNB), in Caracas, where he led an event of Promotions and Decorations to Fallen Heroes and Martyrs in defense of the Homeland.
He stressed that “we are going to see each other face to face and we are going to show them what the daughters and sons of Bolivar are, in the Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace it will be vindicated with lessons and examples, with regard to international action.”
