President in charge Delcy Rodríguez will present an annual message to the National Assembly on January 15

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, will send her annual message to the nation before the National Assembly (AN) on January 15, in fulfillment of the responsibilities assumed after taking office on the 5th of this month.

The event will be held at the Federal Legislative Palace, where various sectors of the country will accompany the head of state in charge of this institutional stage. The call includes popular mobilizations in support of Rodríguez and the constitutional president Nicolás Maduro, who has been kidnapped by the United States since January 3, together with First Lady Cilia Flores.

Rodríguez assumed the leadership of the Executive after being invested by the Parliament, chaired by Jorge Rodríguez, in consideration of the forced absence of the head of state. The purpose of the decision is to ensure administrative continuity and the defense of sovereignty.

The annual message to the Legislative Branch will make it possible to illustrate the situation in the country, the lines of action of the Government and the guidelines for the current period.
