President-in-charge Rodríguez met with EU Heads of Mission and representatives of the United Kingdom and Switzerland

This Monday, January 12, the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, held a meeting with the heads of mission of the European Union (EU); as well as ambassadors of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and of the Swiss Confederation, in Venezuela.
The meeting took place in the Boyacá Hall of the Miraflores Palace, in Caracas, the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, said in statements broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión.
In this regard, Gil specified that issues related to the new phase of relationship that is opening up, based on respect for international law and which seeks to advance a productive and cooperative dialogue in various areas for the common welfare, were discussed.
The activity occurs after the imperial armed incursion that occurred on January 3rd, which left a hundred regrettable victims and the kidnapping of the Constitutional President, Nicolás Maduro, and the First Lady, Cilia Flores.
The foreign minister also stressed that during the exchanges, the President in Charge provided a detailed report of the attacks on Venezuelan territory and denounced the severe violations of international law of which President Maduro and the First Lady are victims.
