President in charge Rodríguez urged the promotion of preventive medicine to avoid situations of greater risk

The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, stressed the importance of preventive medicine, since it allows us to treat health situations in time and avoid “major ills and we can have comprehensive health and, above all, prevent situations of greater risk”.

This was stated in the parish of La Candelaria, in Caracas, where he led the inauguration of the Center for Comprehensive Care for Women and Humanized Childbirth.

The activity was carried out within the framework of the Great Venezuela Women's Mission, which is dedicated to comprehensive preventive health care and different medical specialties will be developed for their care.

At this point, he specified that the above-mentioned Mission already has more than 6 million 300 thousand registered women, “the first vertex is Health, life is the most important thing, more than 36% of that universe, is registered in that vertex at all ages, from girls, adolescents to women”.

For her part, the Minister of Popular Power for Women and Gender Equality, Yelitze Santaella, recalled that the Center for Comprehensive Care for Women and Humanized Childbirth was the product of debates with the People's Power in order to benefit communities in the area.

He said that this new space is an achievement of community organization, aimed at ensuring the well-being and protection of Caracas families.

“We have already prepared 25 units of this type, which are precisely in the heart of the Town, in the commune, so that the women organized in the Women's Committees of each Community Council assume the protection of our women.”
