President instructed the construction and launch of Venezuela's first mini-space satellite

During the closing of the 1st International Space Congress “A Shared Future”, from the Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, instructed this Thursday the construction and launch of the country's first mini space satellite.

“Here is Minister Alex Saab Morán, Minister of Industries, who has a lot to do with what I'm going to say, I want you to put in your brain, your business skills, so that soon we can be launching the first mini space satellite in Venezuela,” said the Head of State.

He stressed that “you have to go step by step in the search for what you are considering. In this case, it is a goal that can encompass the efforts and knowledge of different institutions.” In addition, he said that this objective has the support of friendly nations such as China, Russia, Brazil and France, which participated in this first International Space Congress.
