President Lukashenko: The US is dragging Belarus into a military conflict

This Thursday, President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, denounced that the United States (USA) is dragging his country into a military conflict.

“Washington is doing everything it can to drag our country into the conflict. To set up a mechanism to involve other States in the conflict, that is, to weaken both the Western European region and Eastern Europe,” said Lukashenko, Russia Today (RT) explained.

The president considered that the new million-dollar US aid package to Ukraine is an important factor in the escalation of the conflict. The conflict on Ukrainian territory is “the main real risk” to Belarusian national security, he added.

“Washington is progressively promoting aggressive narratives against the Belarusian and Russian states, increasing the degree of hostility of the North Atlantic Organization (NATO) block in our direction,” he denounced. He also recalled that more than 64 thousand soldiers
