President Maduro: 11 years ago I went to the CNE to carry out Commander Chávez's last order

On this day, March 11, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, registered for the first time his candidacy to be the Head of State after the physical disappearance of the supreme commander, Hugo Chávez Frías.

This was recalled by the president through an emotional video published on his X account in which he explained that March 11, 2013 was “a very emotional moment, affirming our commitment to the Fatherland”.
