The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that to date, 97.49% of the projects that will be selected in the next Popular Consultation, to be held next Sunday, November 23, have been registered in the national system.

He recalled that of the overall total, seven of these projects will be selected for each communal circuit, as part of the participatory planning process driven from the ground up.

At the Teatro Bolívar, where he led the day of the Extraordinary Plenary of the Fifth Congress of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and Fourth of Youth (JPSUV), he noted that the Venezuelan people have already formulated more than 35,000 projects.

He emphasized the magnitude and profound democratic meaning of the upcoming electoral process in the Communes, describing it as a feat of direct Bolivarian democracy.

The Head of State stated that the election day of November 23 involves a great challenge, when more than 8,500 electoral centers have been directly defined by the popular grassroots power.

In that regard, he called on the militancy and the leadership of the PSUV to focus on mobilization. “We have to go headlong into the motivational campaign so that our people come out once again massively to exercise their sovereignty, to exercise their vote,” he insisted.
