President Maduro about Simón Rodríguez: A man of ideas who marked the pedagogical history of our country

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, commemorated 171 years since the death of Simon Rodriguez, the “Socrates of Caracas”.

Through his Telegram channel, the head of state specified that Rodríguez was a “man of ideas who marked the pedagogical history of our country, the great teacher of Liberator Bolivar, who awakened in him the sacred flame of the dream for freedom, independence and rebellion against the Spanish empire”.

He also assured that in 200 years of the Republic, only the Bolivarian Revolution has implemented the vision of our founding fathers. “Let us feel proud and proud to embody, at this time of the 21st century, the historical force of their ideas. Long live the legacy of Samuel Robinson!”
