The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, added the governor of the state of Carabobo, Rafael Lacava, to his campaign command ahead of the Presidential Elections of July 28, 2024.
The announcement was made in the 10th edition of his Maduro Podcast space, broadcast on his YouTube channel, with Governor Lacava as a guest.
In that sense, the head of state said that “I want that now that we are on this wave of putting together the campaign teams, I want Lacava to ask for permission from the People of Carabobo, so that you are one of the main spokespersons and a member of the victorious campaign command by July 28, it's a proposal that I make to you here publicly”.
In response to the request, Lacava agreed to take on this new battle and stated that “it would be a privilege and an honor for me and I know that our people in Carabobo understand the importance of this new task that you are giving me”.
He added that in the face of the imperial model of the north, Venezuela “is doomed to success” and this is reflected in the gradual recovery that the nation is experiencing after the difficulties it has experienced in recent years.
