President Maduro: All the wealth created by the country has only one objective, that the economy prospers

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted this Thursday the progressive upheaval of the national economy, stressing that the generation of wealth in the country is aimed at guaranteeing the well-being of the population.

“All the wealth created by the country has a single objective, that the economy creates wealth and prospers (...) so that wealth is distributed. That's socialism, fair, equal and correct distribution, and how is wealth distributed? Investing in education, building housing, in health,” said the Head of State from the University Hospital of Maracaibo, in the state of Zulia, where he delivered the fully rehabilitated Emergency Room.

He pointed out that this is largely due to the collection of taxes, “because the taxes paid by businessmen and women entrepreneurs in Zulia, in Venezuela, are immediately converted into housing, into BRICOMILES, into health, into schools,” he reiterated.
