President Maduro and the Carupanero people are firm in their commitment to defend Chávez's legacy

President Nicolás Maduro, before the crowd that filled the streets of Carúpano, Sucre state, reiterated his loyalty to the People and the legacy of Commander Chávez.

“I have been loyal to the legacy of Chávez and I have been loyal to the people”, were the words of the Bolivarian leader who recalled the love of an eternal leader for the city of Cumaná.

The Head of State stressed that despite adversities, the People have always accompanied him and now what the future holds is the progress of the entire country.

“We have had a hard time, the green ones, the hard ones, but what comes between now and 2030 is progress, progress and prosperity,” he said.
