President Maduro announces creation of the Venezuelan Popular Song and Rhythm Mission

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced the creation of the Venezuelan Popular Song and Rhythm Mission and entrusted the task to a multidisciplinary commission.
During a meeting with the Congress of the New Era in the framework of the 7T debate from the state of Miranda, the President detailed the need to spread the country's musical culture.
“This is a mission that relaunches, strengthens and brings rhythm and song to every school and community,” he said. In this regard, he stressed that this is a proposal by the cultors Iván Pérez Rossi and Francisco Pacheco, which will be structured and implemented.
The Head of State instructed Vice President Freddy Ñáñez and the Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas to create the mission. “They will be responsible for structuring a powerful cultural mission for the relaunch, positioning and reinforcement of Venezuelan rhythms, songs, poetry and popular singing,” he said.
