President Maduro announces that Venezuela's oil reserves increased 30% in the last certification

This Monday, during his Con Maduro+ program, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced the 30% increase in Venezuela's oil reserves, according to the data provided in the last certification.

“Venezuela has the largest certified reserve in the world, and that reserve, I have to tell you, that it was already certified has increased by 30% more, meaning that Venezuela now has a higher reserve than it had been certified before,” said the head of state.

He specified that in addition to this oil backlog, the country is certifying the fourth gas reserve in the world.

“The two reserves (oil and gas) are open in all blocks for investment,” he said while highlighting the successful participation of Venezuela in the St. Petersburg Economic Forum in Russia, where significant investments were made in these areas.
